43/365: An unexpected work from home day!
This morning I found that L was going to work from home instead of going into the city and working from there. Yay! It was so great (and unexpected) – especially given that he has been working super late and we have barely been able to see each other – not to mention that he has barely been able to see R! So, even though he is stuck to the dining table working, at least we can eat together, have cappuccinos together, and R can interact with him more than just for 5 minutes before she sleeps. Here’s to unexpected time together! =)
41/365: My L’s Bday
Today is L’s bday. Sadly, it didn’t really feel like it because he was working all day, and JUST came home (as in at 9:30 pm…after leaving the house at 6am…yeesh). But I am looking forward to celebrating tomorrow with good family QT.
Anyways, keeping things short and simple, I am thankful for L, for our wonderful family together and all the precious time we have had together. I hope we get to grow old together experiencing many more birthdays and making many more memories.

29/365: MY BABY
It occurred to me today that there is no reason that i can not repeat something that I am thankful for. I don’t know why – felt like I had to keep them new…
But the truth is that today I am SOOOO thankful for time with my daughter! We came back from italy yesterday evening, and I am leaving for a conference today until late tomorrow night, and am SOO sad to be leaving her again. I actually teared up (this is coming from someone who did not cry when she got proposed to). BUT, before leaving today, I had 6 great hours of QT with her. She was in a good mood, playful, and I had lots of fun. I enjoyed and appreciated every minute of it. Can’t wait till Wednesday!
