Thanks to the tree that recently fell on our pool house, I finally made it to our neighbor’s yard and met our very friendly neighbor!
He has been very nice and extremely pleasant throughout the whole process of dealing with the insurance companies and getting al of this taken care of. So I’m thankful for that.
On this topic, while I was out for a walk last month, I had the opportunity to meet a couple of our neighbors behind our house. A week later, one of them came over and brought us a homemade cheesecake! It was DELICIOUS!

Today I am overwhelmed with thankfulness for all the amazing advice and well wishes I have received on my other blog: Haath Se [by hand].
I had the unexpected honor of having y post “Freshly Pressed” on the main WordPress website – which was awesome! Which lead to many, many, many more visits to my blog than I would have ever gotten otherwise:
Which led to many more subscriptions to my blog…. 
And many more comments… 
I treasure all the comments I have received and all the advice and words of encouragement that people have sent our way! I have already learned several new tips about our garden that I will definitely be putting into practice. More than anything, however, I feel like there is this whole community of people “out there” who are smiling and sending positive energy my way. Given that I spend most of my weekdays either alone or with my lovely 2 year old daughter (i.e. few of my good friends live close by), I can underestimate the happiness I get from feeling like I am part of that community!
So thanks blogging world!

2/365: Unexpected, but treasured advice
